The annual event held for many years, the Holi Festival brings alive the famous Indian festival of colours through an array of traditional music and dance of India. Holi is celebrated in India on the Full Moon day (Poornima) during the Hindu calendar month of Uttara Phalguna, which falls in the month of February – March every year. The event is held for over two – three days in the open-air lawns of the Kendra’s campus in New Delhi that provides for much merry making and participation for the audience amid a riot of colours and sumptuous spread of street food. Groups of artist and traditional entertainers are invited from the states like Rajasthan, Haryana, Manipur and Uttar Pradesh and other States of India as well.
